SHELBA HARPER PARKER

ROCKY MOUNT - Shelba Harper Parker, age 83, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020. Born in Nash County on July 22, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Gorham Atkinson Harper and Retha Lillie Casey Harper. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lonus Steve Parker, Sr.

She is survived by her daughters, Joy Parker Sherrod and her husband, Allen, of Tarboro and Angie Parker Large and her husband, Bobby, of Rocky Mount; her son Lonus Steve Parker, Jr. and his wife, Michelle, of Rocky Mount; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; her sisters, Dianne Harper Iradi and husband Stanley and Vickie Harper Mosley and husband Fred; her brother Roland Harper; many nieces and nephews.

A graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jordan Willard officiating. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Shelba's memory to Kindred Hospice, 1712 W Howard Ave, Tarboro, NC 27886.
