JAMES GLENN COCKRELL

ROCKY MOUNT - James Glenn Cockrell passed away p Tuesday, November 17, 2020. Born in Nash County on April 12, 1947, he was the son of the late James Paul Cockrell and Fannie Estelle Joyner Cockrell. He was also preceded in death by his sister Wanda Cockrell Robbins and niece Cynthia Robbins.

He is survived by his daughter, Alicia Cockrell Ross and husband, Eric, of Durham; two grandchildren; former spouse Tessie Cockrell; brother Grady Cockrell; two nephews.

A private family memorial service was held Saturday November 21, 2020 at Northside Community Church of Rocky Mount.

The family plans on having a celebration of life event at a later date to be determined in 2021.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Glenn's memory to Northside Community Church of Rocky Mount.
