NANCY EDITH LYONS

GREENVILLE - Nancy Edith Lyons, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. Born in Nash County on November 2, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Jake Tyson and Ellen Cooper Tyson. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Elsie Mae French and Minnie Marie Parker; brothers, James Dalton Tyson, Walter Lemuel Tyson and Jake Tyson, Jr.

She is survived by sisters, Peggy Bunn of Rocky Mount and Edna Daniels of Winterville; her brother, Leon Tyson of Rocky Mount; and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2020 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Pastor Wray Wheeless.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to West Mount Baptist Church, 8487 West Mount Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
