Teresa Inez Medlin Barnes, 60, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020. She was born December 5, 1959 in Nash County to the late Joseph and Mildred Medlin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clinton Barnes.

She is survived by her daughter Emily Bass and husband Billy; sister Jo Anne Basinger; two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020 at6 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Rouse officiating. Visitation will follow.
