PEGGY ANN CARPENTER

NASHVILLE - Peggy Ann Carpenter, age 72, passed away Wednesday, July 15th, 2020.

Peggy was born May 15, 1948 in Nash County to Albert F. and Kellon House Carpenter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Albert F. "Junior" Carpenter, Jr.

She is survived by three children, Burlon E. Bailey of Nashville, Annette B. Kelly of Rocky Mount, and Jody T. Evans (Lisa) of Nashville; sisters, Undine C. Faucette of Louisburg, Audrey C. Long of Nashville, Julie C. Howard (Pat) of Rocky Mount; and sister-in-law, Brenda Carpenter of Nashville; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, family friends, and other extended relatives.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, July 20th at Forest Hills Cemetery, Nashville. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
