SPRING HOPE - Bobby Lee Howell, 81, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Bobby was born in Nash County on April 26, 1939 to the late Robert Lee Howell and Elsie Manning Howell.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his sisters, Fannie Ruth Howell Glover and Nancy Louise Dixon Bunn.

Bobby is survived by his wife of sixty years, Dixie Bottoms Howell; sons, Steve Howell and Caroline of Raleigh and John Howell and wife, Amy of Spring Hope; two grandsons; brother, Wayne Howell of Rocky Mount.
