ROCKY MOUNT - Pauline "Polly" Lelia Staples Martin, age 95, passed away Thursday, June 18th, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Waller and Bertha Staples; brothers, Wiley, Glenn, and John; sisters, Doris, Claire, Mildred, Peggy, and one grandchild, Trey Martin.
She is survived by her children, Larry Staples (Patti), Trish Pittman (Buck), Roger Martin (Sherry), Ricky Martin, and Elva Wisniewski (Jimmy). She also leaves eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.
A memorial service was held at West Mount Baptist Church Sunday, June 21st.
