GLENN WAYNE MARKS

ROCKY MOUNT - Glenn Wayne Marks, age 67, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020. Born in Edgecombe County on May 12, 1953, he was the son of the late Joe Henry Marks and Addie Jeffreys Marks. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Ann Carter; and brother-in-law, Ferdie Mangum.

He is survived by his son Timothy Allen Wells of Boyton Beach, FL; siblings, Betty Marks Mangum of Wake Forest, Nancy Marks Jones (Ernest) of Rocky Mount, Joe Henry Marks, Jr. of Rocky Mount, Edith Bone of Woodridge, VA, Dale Cockrell (Johnny), of Elm City, David Marks (Faye) of Whitakers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Wayne Ellis officiating. Burial will follow the service at Battleboro Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 12:30 - 1:30 prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
