OMIE GRAY THOMPSON WESTER

ROCKY MOUNT - Omie Gray Thompson Wester, age 84, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020. Born in Nash County on May 16, 1935, she was the daughter of the late John Bunyan Thompson and Ethel Moss Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willie Wester; brothers, Louis Thompson and Henry Thompson; and sister, Annie Mae Webb.

She is survived by her sons, Billy Wester of Newport, Bobby Wester of Rocky Mount, and Gary Wester and wife, Pam, of Rocky Mount; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Hazel Janet Paulucci, nine nieces and nephews; and many friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, plant a flower in her memory and make the world a more beautiful place; that is what she did or memorials may be made to Autumn Care of Nash/Activities Department, 1210 Eastern Avenue, Nashville, NC 27856.
