ROCKY MOUNT - Gerald Lyle Blackwell, age 68, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020. Born in Nash County on November 7, 1951, he was the son of the late Gerald Thomas Blackwell and Lila Lee Lassitar Blackwell.
He is survived by his daughters, Tracy Blackwell Suddreth and husband, Brian and Tammy Blackwell; two granddaughters.
A Special Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 2 - 4 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
