Roy Delbert Edgerton, 77, passed away December 9, 2019. He was born June 9, 1942 in Wayne County to the late Delbert Edgerton and Elizabeth Jones Edgerton.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Andrews Edgerton; son Jeff Edgerton (Pam); daughter Angela Wooten (David); four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother Kenneth Edgerton; sister Edith Lynn Swims (Larry).

A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Parkwood Baptist Church. The service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor John Scott officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
