BAILEY - Nicholas "Pop" Maio, age 88, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019. Born in Nassau County, NY on August 22, 1930, he was the son of the late Antonio Maio and Lucia Ciccione. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Wasley Maio; brothers, Charlie, Tony, and Frank Maio; sisters, Mary Maio, Carmella Maio, and Josephine Veltry.

He is survived by his daughter, Cyndy Maio of Bailey; two grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and a nephew.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
