Kermit Lamont Stallings

Kermit Lamont Stallings, 87, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019. He was born in Nash County March 29, 1932 to the late John Baptist Stallings and Lessie Mae Batchelor Stallings.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances; a grandson, Brandon Roberson and a sister, Judy Keys.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Alston Stallings; son, Ken Stallings, daughter, Jackie Roberson (Marty); one grandchild; step son, Bobby Alston (Judy); step daughters, Debbie Boone (Van), Gail Wicker (Randy), Marsha Heron; daughter-in-law, Nina Stallings; five step grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren; brothers, Harold Stallings and Milton Stallings (Betty).

A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Fowler officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Flowers are accepted or memorial donations may be made to Red Oak Baptist Church, 5515 Red Oak Rd, Red Oak, NC 27868.
