Lila Mae Rose Joyner

Lila Mae Rose Joyner, age 86, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019. Born in Nash County on February 19, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Jack Rose and Rosa Whitley Rose and her step- mother, Carrie Rose. She was also preceded in death by husband, Elbert "Earl" Joyner; daughter, Linda Joyner Strickland, daughter-in-law, Mae Joyner and grandson, Kevin Joyner.

She is survived by her daughter, Becky Crusenberry (Gerry), two sons, James Earl Joyner (Loretta) and Johnny Joyner (Brenda King); eight grandchildren,; fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Hickory Baptist Church, 12702 NC Hwy 48 Whitakers, NC. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
