Lester Langley, 101, passed away January 2, 2019. He was born May 3, 1917 to the late Sidney and Emma Langley. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Langley; brothers, Odie, Otha, John, Percy, Joseph, Sid & Floyd Langley; sisters, Katie Whitley, Bessie Langley, Daisey Mae Jenkins, Bertha Elkins; step-daughter Billie Sloop.

He is survived by step-son, Bob Reid (Lynn); step-daughter, Kitty Etheridge (Fred); sisters, Doris Fisher and Eleanor Yates; many nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with a visitation following the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow the visitation at Mill Branch Cemetery.
