NASHVILLE - Henry E. "Joe" Jones, 64, died on Monday, December 24, 2018.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2 p.m. from the Helping Hands Church of Deliverance in Rocky Mount with Bishop Robin Atwater officiating. Burial will follow in the Cooper Family Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Mattie L. Jones of the home; four daughters, Juanita Jones and Michelle Williams, both of Raleigh, Shanika Roach and her husband, Dwayne of Greenville, Stephanie Jones of the home; four sons, Hendrick Jones of the home, Clarence Jones and his wife, Arkeata, Kenneth and Montreal Jones, all of Nashville; his mother, Lillie Marie Jones of Williamston; four sisters, Bertha Purvis and her husband, James, of Robersonville, Matrissa Goupil and her husband, Patrick of Battleboro, Senfield Williams and Carolyn Huter of Williamston; three brothers, James Jones and his wife, Shirley of Butner, Lynn Jones and his wife, Liz, of Chesapeake, VA, and Gregory Jones of New York, NY; twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1 until 2 p.m. at Helping Hand Church of Deliverance in Rocky Mount.
