BAILEY - Betty Joan Williamson Joyner, 67, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018.

A memorial service was held Friday, December 7, 2018 at Joyner's Funeral Home, Wilson.

Joan was born November 7, 1951, in Wilson County, daughter of the late George Thomas Williamson and Nola Mae Evans Williamson.

Joan is survived by her husband, Frank Joyner; two grandsons; brothers, Clayton Williamson and wife, Faye, G.C. Williamson and wife, Melinda, Harold Williamson and wife, Linda; sisters, Ruth Jernigan, Velma Lancaster and husband, Wade all of Fremont and Darlene Bumgarner and husband, Don of Wilson; sister-in-law, Joyce Brantley of Bailey and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased by her sons, Michael Frank Joyner and Brian Keith Joyner and her sisters, Ola Johnson and Sylvia Hess.
