ROCKY MOUNT - Iva Marie Jackson, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Born in Wilson County on May 6, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie R. and Iva E. Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Lonnie Jackson, William Jackson, Roscoe Jackson, Wilbur Jackson, Billy Jackson and Jimmy Jackson; and one sister, Inez Bass.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Toffton (John), of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Godwin of Wilmington and brother, Bobby Jackson (Margaret) of Sharpsburg; and many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Services were held Friday, December 7, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial was private.
