Message from Nashville Fire Dept.

Nashville's fire and police departments met this morning to discuss potential issues during Hurricane Florence.

A statement from the Nashville Fire Department - "Even though the National Weather Service has said the impacts may not be as great we still want to be prepared for the citizens of Nashville and don't want to down play anything when it comes to safety. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone being affected by this storm. If you need anything that is not an emergency please contact us at 252-459-3017. We ask of you please when the conditions deteriorate please shelter in place if at all possible, for your safety but also for the safety of our staff."
