Eula Phillips Corbett

AYDEN - Eula Phillips Corbett, 87, passed away on Saturday August 25, 2018. She was born on May 27, 1931 in Wilson County to James and Lossie Price Phillips. Eula was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Corbett Sr.; both parents and one son-in-law, Lawrence "Bud" Suggs.

She is survived by her only son, Cecil Corbett Jr. and wife, Marie Bunting, three daughters, Janet Suggs, Ann Garris and husband, B.T., Kim Braxton and husband, Ricky; two brothers, Ed Phillips and wife, Janice, and R.P. Phillips and one sister, Mary Alice Wells and husband Talmadge, of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Farmer Funeral Service-Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Ayden Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. and all other times at the home of her daughter, 6250 Reedy Branch Rd, Winterville .
