ROCKY MOUNT - Phyllis Bone May, age 83, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018. Born in Nash County on January 25, 1935, she was the daughter of the late W. Raymond Bone and Ethel Frances Cooper Bone. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, William Thomas "WT" May.

She is survived by her nephew, Craig Bone of Rocky Mount; and brother, Phillip C. Bone of Rocky Mount.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Chapel on the Hill Mausoleum with Pastor Steve Roberson and Dr. Robin Fisher officiating. A visitation with the family will follow the service and other times at the home of Phillip Bone.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Sunset Avenue Baptist Church, 3732 Sunset Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
