Amy Lee Miller Wilson

Amy Lee Miller Wilson, 91, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018. She was born June 14, 1926 in Fauquier County, Virginia to the late Giles and Grace Clark Miller. Amy loved her family, crafts of all kinds and reading. She was very proud of her church work, teaching Sunday School, serving many areas at Nashville United Methodist Church and teaching at Nash Central Junior High. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wilson, who co-owned and operated the Nashville Graphic for many years. Also she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Bob Miller; two sisters, Helen Ott and Sara Carroll; one step-grandson, Willie Hope.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Bill Wilson and wife Chris of Raleigh, NC; two daughters, Peggy Hope of Washington, NC and Nancy Wilson of Farmville, NC; grandchildren, Joe Hope, Lisa Harmon (Matt), Jeff Wilson, Ben Rogers (Emma) and Amy Rogers; step-granddaughter, Megan Jablonski; great-grandchildren, Leah, Molly, Daniel and Jack Harmon.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018, 11:00 AM at Nashville United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Reed and Rev. Ralph Brown officiating. Visitation with family and friends will follow after service.
