Jerry Leon Lindsey

Jerry Leon Lindsey, age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 28, 2018. He was born in Nash County on December 24, 1937 to the late Luther Leon "Doc" and Elmo Jeannette Lindsey. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Norma Lindsey and brothers Stanley Ray "Rock" Lindsey and Luther Kent Lindsey.

He is survived by his daughters Sheilah Boone and husband Steve, Anita Baker and husband Garry.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one on the way.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Moss, Rev. Jimmy Carpenter and Rev. Reuben Batchelor officiating. Burial will follow at Lindsey Family Cemetery in Nashville.
