Dorothy Cheryl Melton Rawls, 53, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. She was born November 20, 1963. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Connie Melton.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, William Rawls; father, Roland Melton; daughters Ashley Christina Rawls, Taylor Nichole Rawls; brother, Joseph Rocky Farmer; sister, Anna Jean Lindsay Melton; mother in law, Jackie Dawes Smith; sister in law, Christy Parker; brother in law, Joe Turner (Brandy); many nieces and nephews.

Services were held Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with with Pastor Ray Vick officiating. Burial followed Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
