Diane Batchelor Sharpe passed away September 11, 2017. Born on May 12, 1942 in Rocky Mount to the late Carl L. Batchelor and Mallie C. Batchelor Meeks. She was also predeceased by her stepfather, Jack Meeks; and her sisters, Rose and Helen.

Diane is survived by her husband of 55 years, Milton of Rocky Mount; her son, Kevin and his wife, Christie, of Wake Forest; and two grandchildren.

Services will be held Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Keith Griffin of UNC Nash Hospice, and Reverend Rebekah Maul of Wake Forest Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow on the Family Farm. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
