Stephen Larverne Hoell, age 67, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Born in Nash County on November 28, 1949, he was the son of the late Curtis Ray Hoell and Christine Luper Hoell. He was also preceded in death by his brother "Mickey" Hoell.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hoell; daughter, Stephanie Collins and husband, Phillip; and four grandchildren.

At the family's request, a private service will be held at a later date.
