Lillie Mae Sessoms

Lillie Mae Sessoms, 90, of Nashville, died on Wednesday, July 5, 2017.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 12 p.m. from the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Nashville, with Rev. James Galliard officiating. Buria lfollowed in the Oakland Cemetery.

She is survived by four daughters, Sylvia Jones and her husband, Jesse and Clara Jones, both of Fayetteville, Linda Battle and her husband, J.P. and Sarah Hill and her husband, George, both of Rocky Mount; four sons, James E. Sessoms and his wife, Lena of Nashville, Alvin Sessoms and his wife, Gracie of Decatur, AL, Terry Sessoms and his wife, Vivian and Richard Glen Ricks and his wife, Nannie, both of Rocky Mount; five sisters, Louise Callendar of Brooklyn, NY, Mary Green and Clara Pierce, both of Castalia, Mable West of Newport News, VA, Maggie Stokes; and one brother, Emmanuel Hilliard both of Rose Hill; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
