Barbara Grace Powell Cockrell, 74, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017.
Born November 11, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Sallie Winstead Powell. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Fredric Cockrell.
She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Phelps (Michael) and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Mt. Herman Baptist Church with Rev. Justin Nale officiating.
