Henry Cooper Edmondson

Henry Cooper Edmondson, age 64, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Born in Edgecombe County on November 7, 1952, he was the son of the late Charles Thomas Edmondson, Sr. and Lanie Tolston Edmondson. He was also preceded in death by two of his siblings, Barbara Edmondson Johnson and Charles Thomas "CT" Edmondson, Jr.

Henry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Llewellyn Worsley Edmondson; daughters, Kelley Edmondson Tyndall and husband, Chris, of Rocky Mount; and Ashley Edmondson Van Liere and husband, Daniel, of Greenville; four grandchildren; sister, Dianne Edmondson Scheibe and husband, Dick; and six nieces.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Englewood United Methodist Church, Rocky Mount with the Rev. Terry Williams and Rev. Jim Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Brake Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 6 - 8:30 p.m. at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Englewood United Methodist Church, 300 S. Circle Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 or Boys & Girls Homes of North Carolina, Inc., Credit Club: Rocky Mount Evening Optimist Club, 400 Flemington Drive, Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450.
