James Earl Pitts

James Earl Pitts, 70, of Nashville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.

He was born December 8, 1946 in Robeson County to the late Ernest and Jeannette Pitts.

He is survived by his two daughters, Bonnie Pitts and Jessica Dickerson and husband, Mike; grandson, Matthew Dickerson, and sister, Virginia Stone. He was predeceased by his grandson, Christopher Helton and one brother, Ernie Pitts.

Services will be held Friday, April 7, at 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville. A visitation will precede the service at 12:30 p.m. Burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will also receive visitors Thursday evening from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. at 655 Green Pine Road, Nashville.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
