Richard V. Davis

Richard V. Davis, 88, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017. He was born July 16, 1928 to the late Prynse and Ilane Pabst Davis. Richard was born on a houseboat on the Mississippi River in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He lived in Nashville, NC since 2004, previously lived in Wisconsin, Maryland, Chicago, Ill and Rochester, NY. Richard recently moved to Brookdale Assisted Living Facility in Rocky Mount. He loved to watch baseball, golf and T.V. Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He spent most of his career working in the printing industry.

He is survived by his brothers, Gearld Davis of Nashville, NC and Theodore Davis of Albuquerque, New Mexico; nephews, Glenn Davis and wife Traci of Zebulon, NC, Ronald Davis of Tome, New Mexico; nieces, Katherine Lewis and husband Andy of Rocky Mount, NC, Sharon Gill and husband Gary of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Karen Murth of St. Louis, Missouri.

Richard will be fondly remembered by family and friends as "Uncle Dick" and will be sorely missed.
