Lois Tharrington, 77, of Pineville, passed away Wednesday, December 28t, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, January 6 at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville.

She was born on February 19, 1939 in Nashville , and is preceded in death by her parents William David Tharrington and Mary Elizabeth Jacobs.

She is survived by one son, L. David Ware and wife Angela, of Winston-Salem; sister Ann T. Hartley of Rocky Mount; and 2 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elm Grove Baptist Church, 2365 Old Bailey Highway, Nashville, NC 27856.
