Walter J. Mills, 82, of Nashville, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 12 noon from the Pine Chapel Church in Hollister with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Chapel Memorial Garden.
Survivors include his wife, Mary B. Mills; two daughters, Katherine M. Johnson, of Wilson and Rachel M. Foster, of Nashville; two sons, David L. Mills, of Richmond, VA and Danny Mills, of the home; two sisters, Dorothy Stewart, of Alexandria, VA and Shirley Silver, of Hampton, VA; two brothers, Thurman Mills, and his wife, Neda, of Hollister and Zollie Mills, and his wife, Bernette, of Hollister; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
