GREGORY HUNTER STOKES

Gregory Hunter Stokes, 29, of Rocky Mount passed away Friday, November 25, 2016. His funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, December 2, at Joyner's Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. Associate Pastor Luke Whitehead will officiate.
The family will receive friends 6 - 8 Thursday at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home.
He is survived by his parents, Gregg and Virginia Stokes of Rocky Mount; sister, Lindsay Stokes, of Rocky Mount.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents A.D. Kimbrell, of Aberdeen, and Donna M. Skinner, of Rocky Mount; paternal grandparents John W. and Jackie B. Stokes of Wilson; uncle Richard W. Kimbrell of Newland.
Memorials may be directed to Hope Initiative, in Hunter's name, c/o Nashville Police Department, Chief Tom Bashore, 501 S. Barnes Street, Nashville, NC 27856.
