Lonnie "James" Hawkins

Lonnie "James" Hawkins, 65, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016. He was born June 5, 1951 in Vance County. James was preceded in death by father, Lonnie Green Hawkins; a brother, Curtis Hawkins; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Hawkins and brother-in-law Carl Cowan.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Owens of Red Oak; son, Jeffery James Hawkins of Red Oak; daughters, Judy Webb and husband Jimmy of Lucama, and Marion Hawkins Faulkner and husband Bryan of Castalia; brother, Jerry Ray Hawkins and wife Sheila of Castalia; sister, Glenda Cowan of California; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Cornerstone Funeral Home on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10 a.m. with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Committal will follow the service at Forest Hill Cemetery.
