JOE CARR RADFORD

Joe C. Radford, age 68, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Born in Greene County on September 11, 1948, he was preceded in death by his father, Elwood Carr Radford.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda Kirkland Radford; his mother Joceil Corbett Radford of Tarboro; brother, Gregory P. Radford and wife, Melody, of Rocky Mount; sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and daughter, Wendy Johns.

A funeral service was held Thursday, October 6, 2016 in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Father Tim Meares officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 331 Hammond Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
