Myrtle Meadows Mosley

Myrtle Meadows Mosley, 88, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016. She was born on November 22, 1927 to the late Claude and Ella Meadows of Buncombe County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Mosley; one son, Stanley Mosley; one daughter, Delores Arenas; two brothers, Douglas and Roy; two sisters, Mary Francis Pierce, and Charlotte Williams; three step-sisters, Ruth, Evangeline and Virginia.

She is survived by one stepdaughter, Ann Creekmore (Everette); two stepsons, Ronnie Mosley and James Mosley; one son, David Mosley (Tess); two daughters, Jeanette Edwards (David) and Carole Strickland (Jerry); five sisters, Edith Evans, Eva Lewis, Jackie King, Marie Lewis, and Genevieve Varnell; two brothers, Claude Meadows, Jr. and Charles Meadows; fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.

A service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Pastor Robbie Piper officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Nashville. The family will receive friends from 1 -2:30 p.m. prior to the service.
