Gary Richard Palmer, age 78, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016. Born on June 2, 1938, he was the son of the late Leland Arthur Palmer and Virginia Hathaway Palmer and step-son of the late Genevieve Klug Palmer.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal Shumaker Palmer; son, Leland James Palmer, (Sandra Jones); daughter, Lisa Palmer Moss, (Daniel B. Owens); three brothers, Leland Arthur Palmer, Jr., Donald Robert Hathaway and Bruce Palmer, (Hilda Palmer); 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at Englewood Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. In lieu of Flowers please make contributions to Wilson Memorial Hospital.
