NORA "COOKIE" LUPER ROSE

Nora "Cookie" Luper Rose, age 71, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Born in Edgecombe County on March 29, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Wiley Edward Luper and Susie Oast Luper. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Julius E. Rose; and her brothers, Tom Luper, and Wallace Luper.
She is survived by her sons, Julius Rose, II of Rocky Mount, Brian Liles and wife, Patti, of Manassas, VA, and Bobby Liles of Rocky Mount; 9 grandchildren; and her sister, Ida Harper of Rocky Mount.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. A. Paul Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 6- 7:30 p.m. at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
