Rachel Taylor Daughtridge, age 78, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016. Born in Edgecombe County August 5, 1937. Rachel was preceded in death by her parents Roy Taylor and Maggie Peoples Taylor. Brother Earl Taylor and sister Patricia Taylor Farmer.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles Daughtridge; daughter Tina D. Webb and husband Kelly Webb, son Charles Daughtridge Jr., five grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Fond Daughtridge (Bob Debrecht); brother-in-law, the late Glenn Daughtridge (Pat), Alvin Daughtridge (Judy), Ervin Farmer.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Proctors Chapel Baptist Church.
