WILLIAM LAWRENCE BISSETTE

William Lawrence Bissette, 86, of Bailey passed away Friday, December 11. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Joyner's Funeral Home in Wilson. Interment followed in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. The Rev. Charles Robl and the Rev. Kevin Seymour officiated.
Lawrence is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Margaret Eloise Bissette of the home; his sons, Larry Bissette and wife, Joyce of Durham, and Mark Bissette and wife, Cindy of Greensboro; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; his sisters, Janie Joyner of Spring Hope and Trudy Matthews of Wilmington, and brothers, Ed Bissette, and Elton Bissette both of Spring Hope.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Dew Bissette and Mary Jane Morgan Bissette.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, 6048 Mt. Pleasant Road, Bailey, North Carolina 27807 or the Children's Home Society of North Carolina, PO Box 14608, Greensboro, North Carolina 27415.
