Michael "Skeebo" Blanton, age 60, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015. Born in New Hanover County on January 11, 1955, He was the son of the late Fred Alexander Parrish and Blanchie McLamb Blanton.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Julie "Cleo" Blanton; his daughter, Kristen B. Perry and her husband, Andrew of Nashville; sons, Jeremy Scott Blanton of Rocky Mount; Joshua Shane Blanton and his wife Holly of Nashville; and three grandsons.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Greg O'Neil officiating. Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 2:30-4 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
