AARON CANAAN JOYNER

Aaron Canaan Joyner, 92, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015. He was born in Nash County, April 27, 1923 to the late Lonnie F. and Ollie Joyner.
He is survived by his wife Willa Mae Joyner; son, Cannie Ray Joyner (Delores); daughters, Betty J. Lee, Peggy Blackwell (Phillip); brothers, Clarence and Warnell Joyner; sisters, Marjorie Bone, Genevieve Pridgen; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Davis officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 1460 Bethlehem Rd Rocky Mount, NC 27803 and the Alzheimer's Foundation, 3739 National Drive, Suite 110, Raleigh, NC 27612.
