JULIA WARD DAVIS PERRY

Julia Ward Davis Perry, age 79, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015. Born in Brunswick County on November 3, 1935, she is the daughter of the late Thomas Teddy Ward and Vada Mae Jenrette Ward. She was predeceased by her husband, George Ray Davis, Sr.; her husband, Donald Allen Perry; her son, Jeffrey Jay Davis and step-mother, Inez Dutton Ward.
She is survived by her son, George Ray Davis, Jr. and his wife, Bonita, of Sandy Cross; daughter, Teri Davis Taylor and her husband, W.C., of Rocky Mount; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn Ward Moore, and brothers, Kenneth Ward and his wife Hilda, Ted Ward and his wife Jackie, and Garry Ward and his wife Virginia.
A Graveside Service was held Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sunset Avenue Baptist Church Children's Ministries, 3732 Sunset Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
