JERRY LEON TAYLOR

Jerry Leon Taylor, age 59, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015. Born in Nash County on August 30, 1955, he is the son of Jean Griffin Taylor and the late William Jake Taylor.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Ellen Joyner Taylor; a step-son, Richard Ebert Wilson, III. of Durham; one grandchild; sister, Janet Lynn Taylor of Nashville; brothers, William Jake Taylor, Jr., and his wife, Lisa of Raleigh; James Edward Taylor of Nashville; a brother-in-law, William D. Joyner, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Jackie Langley, Janice Lewis, Paula Joyner and Ann Payne.
A service was held Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Carl Payne officiated.
