Barbara Carter House, 72, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015.  She was born in Nash County May 15, 1942 to the late Joseph S. and Elizabeth Dunn Carter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Michael House; brother, Joseph Carter and sister, Nancy Rose Carter.
She is survived by her husband, Boyd Dalton House, Sr.; son, Boyd Dalton “Ricky” House and wife, Judy of Hopewell, Va; sister Sandra Carter Wright; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one great- great grandchild.
