Ruben Gerial Proctor, age 88 passed away on September 12, 2014.
Ruben was born on February 9, 1926 in Wilson County. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Mildred Proctor, his parents Oscar and Pattie Proctor, two brothers, Raymond and Cullen Proctor, and two sisters, Lucille Webb and Charity Holland.
He is survived by three sons, Gerial Proctor (Leslie) of Oxford, Alex Proctor (Anna) of Wilson, Jeff Proctor of Rocky Mount, and one daughter, Paulette Pitt, (Ricky) of Rocky Mount, five grandchildren; three  great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held  Tuesday, September 16, 2014  at Englewood Presbyterian Church, Rocky Mount. Pastor Rob Westlund officiated.
