FLONNIE JACKSON “DICK” PARKER, JR.

NASHVILLE - Flonnie Jackson “Dick” Parker, Jr., 84, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014.
He was born March 17, 1930 in Nash County to the late Flonnie and Mary Maude Baker Parker. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Michelle Collie. 
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Gardner Parker, of the home; daughters, Jackie Collie and husband, Mike, and Mary Lou Braswell and husband, Scott, both of Rocky Mount, and Flonnie Buck and husband David of Goldsboro; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister, Dorothy Glover of Red Oak. 
A service  was held on Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Cornerstone Funeral Home.  Burial followed the service at Red Oak Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Nash County Relay for Life 930-B Wellness Dr. Greenville, N.C.  27834
