NASHVILLE - Funeral services for Johnny Ray Best, 62, who died on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, were held Friday, Feb. 14, at 1 p.m., at Mt. Zion Holiness Church with Elder Melvin Arrington officiating. Burial followed in the Oakland Cemetery.
Surviving: daughter, Vickie Tate of Texas; mother, Willie Mae Best of Rocky Mount; sisters, Shirley Woodard and Edna Scott, both  of Rocky Mount, Bertha Jean Scott of Wewahitchka, Fla., brothers, Michael Best of Oklahoma City, Okla., Willie James Best of Rocky Mount.
Arrangements by Richardson Funeral Home, Nashville.
