HAZEL “MARIE” PARKER BAKER

Hazel “Marie” Parker Baker, 83, passed away on January 28, 2014. She was born on November 23, 1930 in Nash County. She was the daughter of Hazel Bone Parker and Curtis Haywood Parker of Nash County. She was the granddaughter of Marcellus Bone and step-granddaughter to Fannie P. Bone. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Lodis “Albert” Baker.
Marie is survived by a daughter, Angela Wall and husband Anthony “Toby”; three sons: Gregory Baker and wife Barbara; Keith Baker and wife Nell “Rusty”; and Bruce Baker and wife Patrice “Tricey”, all of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
A funeral service was held at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home on Friday, January 31, 2014 with Rev. Wayne Mills officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum.
